Many of you probably remember the how to run Citrix Access Gateway on VMware Workstation, but who said it does not work on XenServer as well?
It does, and here is a step by step guide on how to install the Citrix Access Gateway Standard Edition 4.6 on Citrix XenServer.
I've tested this on Citrix XenServer 5.5 with Xencenter 5.5, but it should also work on 5.0 of Citrix XenServer.
First you need to download Citrix Access Gateway Standard Edition 4.6.
Now, from the XenCenter Console select

Choose Other install media

Give it a name

Mount the AGSE_v4.6.0-44.iso file
Choose 1 vCPU and min 256 Memory, remember that it will work best with 512.

Click Add to add a new Virtual Disk

Let's put in 12GB of diskspace on the new Virtual Disk
Make sure that the disk is added, and click Next
Now choose to add 2 Network Interfaces, you need both do get it to install!
Off you go, boot it up and wait until it finishes.
It may seem like the CAG is hanging on the “Adding IPv4 address” but don't worry, just wait it out(remember sometimes we do not need to hurry hurry hurry :) )
Next, you need to change the network settings on the management machine, change the network settings to the 10.20.30.x mask 255.255.255.0 network and follow these steps:
Now, you are all set to run a Citrix Access Gateway Standard edition on your Citrix XenServer 5.x virtualization platform.
