Flowise versions before 3.1.4 contain a script injection vulnerability in Docker image build workflows where workflow_dispatch inputs are directly interpolated into shell run blocks. Attackers with repository write access can inject shell metacharacters through inputs like tag_version and node_version to execute arbitrary commands and steal AWS credentials and Docker Hub tokens.

Why it matters

Internet-facing
Not identified as a common internet-facing category
Exploitation likelihood
high
  • Remotely exploitable over the network — no physical or local access required
  • Low attack complexity — no special conditions needed to exploit
  • Requires high-privilege access first
  • No user interaction needed — can be exploited automatically
Recommended mitigation

Apply the vendor patch as soon as it's available or already released. Review and restrict accounts with the privilege level this vulnerability requires.

This analysis is generated from structured CVSS vector data, CISA KEV cross-referencing, and vendor/product category rules — not a manual expert review. Treat it as a starting point, not a substitute for your own assessment.
