Citrix has released a new version of theirReceiver for HTML5. This is a zero-install client that enables users to access virtual desktops and hosted applications delivered by XenDesktop and XenApp from a web browser. Receiver for HTML5 is available in English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese.

New features in this release

• Support for Citrix Cloudbridge in the deployment
• Session Monitoring using HDX insight in Citrix NetScaler and Cloudbridge

Intended use

• Productivity applications, audio-video playback in XenDesktop and XenApp
• Receiver for HTML5 is hosted on StoreFront servers and Receiver for HTML5 1.4 is installed by default when you install StoreFront 2.6. You can install Receiver for HTML5 1.5 on a StoreFront 2.5 or 2.6 servers if you want to upgrade Receiver for HTML5. Do not install Receiver for HTML5 1.5 with versions prior to StoreFront 2.5
