Citrix has updated their Branch Repeater Appliance Software to version 6.1.4. Mainly bugfixes, but also 1 new feature has been added. Release 6.1.4 is a software maintenance release for the Citrix Branch Repeater Release 6.1. This Software Maintenance Release contains a number of bug fixes. This software Maintenance Release is compatible with partner appliances running previous Branch Repeater releases 5.0 and later, and can be used in a mixed environment that includes units running these older releases.

The new features is that you now can designate the interface from which a secure partner connection is originated.

The update incorporates bugfixes and here are the issues resolved in release 6.1.4

• Issue ID 0343601: NTLMv2 authentication fails if the user uses a short domain name other than the default one.
• Issue ID 0343887: NetScaler load balancing of Microsoft exchange servers causes MAPI sessions to become unoptimized.
• Issue ID 0355024: NetApp server fails to save a file when CIFS acceleration is enabled in Branch Repeater
