Goliath Technologies Joins IGEL Ready Program as a Technology Partner
Goliath Technologies, a leader in end-user experience monitoring and troubleshooting software, and IGEL, the edge OS leader for cloud workspaces, has announced that Goliath has joined the new IGEL Ready Program as a technology partner.
IGEL Ready opens up the company’s core enterprise software for tech companies like Goliath to integrate and validate its products, driving business growth and flexible access to enterprise applications for mutual customers of Goliath and IGEL.
“While we support organizations across verticals, Goliath is the standard in Health IT. We offer purpose-built software to monitor and troubleshoot end-user experiences across Citrix and VMware Horizon environments to the delivery and use of EHR applications, like Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, and MEDITECH” . “As a member of the IGEL Ready Program, we ensure our combined solution offers optimal value to Health IT professionals responsible for the end-to-end clinician experience while centrally managing, controlling, and securing all endpoints.”
said Thomas Charlton, CEO and Chairman of Goliath Technologies
IGEL is often a critical piece of the IT delivery infrastructure, especially in healthcare. However, that infrastructure is complex and when end-user performance issues arise (slow logon times, poor session performance), identifying what piece of technology stack or end-user behavior is negatively impacting the experience is challenging. With Goliath’s software, IGEL customers can quickly identify root cause and resolve end-user performance issues avoiding any delay in deployment or use of IGEL.
“The future of enterprise computing is in the cloud. The IGEL Ready Program makes it easy for any company to deploy its applications to virtual desktops and cloud workspaces, reaching a new and relevant market and enabling world-class customer service,” said Jed Ayres, CEO, IGEL. “We’re excited that Goliath Technologies is joining our growing network of more than 90 IGEL Ready partners and being part of a new movement in the end user computing industry.”
Now more than ever, providing customers and their employees with reliable, frictionless access to tools, applications, and services is critical for businesses continuity and growth. The IGEL Ready Program ensures that partner applications are validated and shared, and that their customers have access to updated and secure software. This new ecosystem enables customers to consider compatible devices and partner applications across a range of categories in the customer-facing IGEL Ready Showcase.
Goliath Technologies are excited about their growing relationship with IGEL and their joint customers. Together they are improving and simplifying the end-to-end user experience as the marketplace adopts IGEL software defined endpoints. Their proactive end-user experience monitoring and troubleshooting platform works with IGEL, running on a Citrix or VMware Horizon delivery infrastructure, to automatically identify any events, conditions, or failure points that impact the workspace experience.
They recently held a joint live webinar with their customer Penn National Insurance who described the value they were getting with their joint solution as they roll out their virtual workspace initiative. IGEL saved them significant cost by empowering them with the next-gen operating system, enabling them to modernize their virtual desktop stack while maintaining legacy hardware and infrastructure components. During the rollout, Penn National’s IT team ran into performance issues and long logon times. Their users were, of course, blaming the latest technology put in place – IGEL. To no fault of IGEL, the deployment was at risk of failing because the perception was the new technology was causing end-user disruption.
The Goliath Technologies and IGEL partnership enables Health IT to proactively monitor and troubleshoot the end-to-end clinician experience while centrally managing, controlling, and securing all endpoints. In today’s
healthcare environment, no patient can be cared for without a clinician logging into their digital workspace and accessing their EHR applications (e.g. Cerner, Epic, MEDITECH, Allscripts, etc.). It is critical that when that
clinician logs in, they have fast and reliable access to these and other mission-critical clinical applications. There is no room for downtime or slow logon speeds when clinicians are actively caring for their patients.
