LIQUIDWARE demos new tech at VMworld 2017

Liquidware will be demonstrating the latest versions of ProfileUnity, FlexApp, and Stratusphere UX at VMworld 2017 here this week at Booth #1126. New and exclusive features across all solutions will be front and center, while the latest integration with industry partners will also be on display.

Liquidware will also be demonstrating significant updates to their user experience monitoring and diagnostics solution, Stratusphere UX v6.0. The latest version of the solution (to be released fall, 2017),  will include major architectural enhancements to support scalability, a dashboard builder, support for new client devices, and reporting to facilitate application virtualization and strategy with FlexApp layering.

ProfileUnity and FlexApp were also recently updated and are now available as version 6.7. The latest release includes features not found in the competition. New FlexApp features include exclusive Click-to-Layer capabilities, and Citrix XenApp, Microsoft, and VMware Horizon RDSH session isolation for FlexApps. ProfileUnity’s latest features includes new ProfileDisk features for Citrix XenApp, Microsoft, and VMware Horizon RDSH environments.

Role-based access and auditing has also been introduced for both ProfileUnity and FlexApp. The new feature enables Administrators to safely perform specific roles within the user environment such as application delivery and packaging or secure application rights management and privilege elevation. The feature is hailed as an answer to providing controlled access to certain Microsoft Group Policy-like job task challenges that have long plagued many enterprises.

“This is Liquidware’s eighth VMworld 2017, and we’re proud to help VMware promote the importance of EUC to their user community, said J. Tyler Rohrer, co-founder of Liquidware. “We continue to lead the Workspace Environment Management market by delivering features never seen before that solve real-world problems for Windows desktop environments from VMware, Citrix, Amazon Workspaces, and Microsoft in cloud-based, virtual, and physical environments. We dare you to compare our products to any vendor in the space for innovation, breath of workspace management, and value.”

IGEL will also be demonstrating a new integration with Liquidware Stratusphere UX 6.0 on booth #233 at VMworld 2017, which will offer IT organizations greater insight into the end-user desktop computing experience, and give them the visibility they need to more effectively monitor and manage desktop performance.

To better support the application lifecycle, Stratusphere UX 6.0 will also include new application-specific GPU metrics. Based on a partnership with NVIDIA and its software development kit, Stratusphere UX adds to its NVIDIA GRID visibility with new application-specific encode, decode, frame buffer and graphics utilization metrics. Kevin Cooke, Liquidware’s Product Director for Stratusphere UX, will be speaking in the NVIDIA booth #531 on Tuesday at 2:45pm.

Finally, Liquidware is proud to be the founder and an inaugural sponsor of The Inside Track, a new and exclusive community for end user computing (EUC) influencers such as outspoken bloggers, media, and influencers. The first invitation-only meet up will be held during the week for EUC/VDI experts, co-sponsors include IGEL and NVIDIA.
