ARHUS, Denmark, Sep 30, 2010 – Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. [NYSE: ARW], announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Sanbolic Inc. to sell the Melio solutions in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Sanbolic’s software is an enabling technology for Microsoft, Citrix and VMware virtualization, as well as for consolidated storage solutions using Microsoft Windows-based data centers.

“We are pleased to bring Sanbolic into the Nordics and Baltic countries. Its software product suite nicely complements and enhances the solutions that we are currently offering to our resellers,” said Jorgen Winter, vice president, Arrow ECS Nordics. “With Sanbolic’s Melio 2010, we can offer high-availability solutions for Citrix deployments, robust solutions for Windows-based data centers and better utilization of existing storage technology and servers.”

Through the agreement, Arrow ECS will provide additional reach and support to Sanbolic resellers through technical training, certifications and pre- and postsales support services.

“We already have pre- and postsales staff trained on Sanbolic’s products who can provide support in local languages. We will be working closely with Sanbolic to build the best possible relationship between IT resellers, vendors and customers,” said Winter.

“It’s a pleasure for us to work with Arrow ECS in bringing our technology to data-center customers in the Nordics and Baltics. Arrow ECS will enhance Sanbolic’s focus on presales support by offering expertise on solution selling, consultancy and architecture,” said Eva Helen, chief operating officer, vice president of business development and cofounder of Sanbolic. “Arrow ECS will offer Sanbolic software to Citrix, Microsoft and enterprise storage resellers and ensure that they are ready to take their solution sales to the next level.” “
