Citrix  has announced that Gartner, Inc., has positioned the company in the leaders quadrant of the 2013 Magic Quadrant for Mobile Device Management (MDM) Software report. The report assesses Citrix XenMobile, a comprehensive solution that gives users device and app choice while also enabling IT to meet its management and compliance requirements.

In addition, Citrix XenMobile received the highest score for overall use case in the Critical Capabilities for Mobile Device Management Software report. The critical capabilities for mobile device management takes a deep look at the top technology in MDM for policy compliance, mobile security management, mobile software management, mobile content management, analytics and delivery styles.

According to Gartner, a ‘Leader’ exhibits the ability to shape the market by introducing additional capabilities in its product offerings and by raising awareness of the importance of these features. Key capabilities for a Leader revolve around policy compliance, mobile security management, mobile software management, mobile content management, analytics and delivery styles.

With XenMobile, Citrix continues its leadership in providing organizations with a single vendor for all enterprise mobility needs. The solution enables security and compliance for IT while giving users mobile device, app and data freedom. Users gain single-click access to all of their mobile, SaaS and Windows apps from a unified corporate app store, including seamlessly-integrated email, browser data sharing and support apps. IT gains control over mobile devices with full configuration, security, provisioning and support capabilities. In addition, XenMobile leverages the Worx App SDK, a simple and powerful SDK that Worx-enables any mobile app so that IT can add the appropriate policy, behavior and security controls. With XenMobile, IT can meet their compliance and control needs while users get the mobile freedom to experience work and life their way.

Organizations need a solution that meets IT’s need for security and management, while addressing user needs for seamless access to apps, data and support services from any mobile device. XenMobile is the only solution that delivers everything required to mobilize the enterprise. We feel privileged to be recognized by Gartner in its Leaders Quadrant of the 2013 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Device Management.
