CloudFuze today announced that it is working with Citrix to provide Citrix ShareFile customers with access to enterprise content management systems including Alfresco, Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and EMC Documentum. Using the CloudFuze platform and the ShareFile StorageZone Connectors software development kit (SDK), customers gain the ability to seamlessly and securely connect to and manage documents with these leading Enterprise Content Management systems. The solution will be showcased at the ShareFile pod within the Citrix booth and in Citrix ShareFile breakout sessions at Citrix Synergy™ from May 6-8.

Users can access and edit Office documents stored in Documentum or annotate PDFs stored in Alfresco from an iPad.”

For CloudFuze, the relationship with Citrix is part of CloudFuze’s growing role in the evolution of cloud collaboration. CloudFuze supports integration with public, private and hybrid storage clouds and also enterprise content management systems within the corporate network. The rise of new cloud storage options offers the potential for significant benefits including cost reduction, increased work mobility and collaboration, but it also adds file management complexity.
