ComTrade a leading developer of management products for Microsoft System Center, today announced it is working closely with Citrix to give customers the ability to connect Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to Citrix XenDesktop.

ComTrade will begin offering a new version of ComTrade Management Pack for Citrix XenDesktop that will be compatible with Microsoft Systems Center 2012 and include monitoring and management of both Provisioning Server and Web Interface.

End-To-End Monitoring & Management of XenDesktop

ComTrade’s Management Pack for Citrix XenDesktop helps IT measure, monitor and manage XenDesktop and provides a complete end-to-end view of the Citrix environment from within Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager.
Through the collaboration between Citrix and ComTrade, customers will receive a scalable and fault-tolerant XenDesktop monitoring and management solution that plugs directly into Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, eliminating the need for a separate monitoring framework. In addition, customers will be able to monitor their environments’ health and state, from connectivity issues to utilization to load and availability across all XenDesktop components.
