Liquidware Labs continues aggressive growth strategy and significant expansion of channel with distribution agreement with Arrow ECS

Before I begin the press releases, I just want to say to the Liquidware Labs people: “welcome to the familiy”… we do great things at Arrow ECS, looking forward to working with you!

The leader in desktop transformation solutions pushes recruitment of North American VARs advancing their services and product portfolios with company’s desktop transformation methodology and solutions suite.

Liquidware Labs, Liquidware Labs, the leader in desktop transformation solutions, and Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc., announced today the two companies have entered into a distribution agreement. Effective immediately, Arrow value-added resellers will have access to the Liquidware Labs Desktop Transformation Suite and Methodology.

“We are pleased to add Liquidware Labs to the Arrow portfolio,” said Mike Nowlan, vice president of the security, virtualization and networking practices for Arrow ECS. “The proven solutions that Liquidware Labs provides will enable our VARs to offer customers a structured and streamlined approach to deploying and managing virtual desktop infrastructures, all from a single vendor.”

The agreement facilitates training and fast-tracking for new and existing VARs for virtualizing desktops to make them more manageable, cost effective and compliant. As more VARs are equipped to become trusted advisors for desktop virtualization, one of the most rewarding IT solutions for businesses worldwide, the barriers to adoption of virtual desktop implementation continue to be lowered.

With Liquidware Labs, Arrow expands its portfolio of cost-competitive and broader desktop virtualization products in the key areas of assessment, design, migration and validation. With Arrow as a distributor, Liquidware Labs gains the market reach to scale its desktop virtualization channel and ultimately attract more end clients.

“We are looking forward to a strong ongoing relationship with Arrow ECS, given its proven record in value-added distribution in our market space,” said Chris Akerberg, senior vice president, worldwide sales and marketing for Liquidware Labs. “”The Arrow agreement allows us to share our message with more potential VARs in North America as well as helping us better serve our current valued partners.”

The methodology Liquidware Labs has pioneered is a powerful one for VARs where they can take their customers through every phase of a desktop transformation from assessing physical desktops and designing the correct virtual infrastructure to migrating users to the new VDI environment, as well as validating an acceptable experience for new users.
