Liquidware Labs Stratusphere Identifies Good Desktop Virtualization Candidates with the Click of a Button

Alpharetta, Ga – January 27, 2010 – Liquidware Labs, the leader in Assessment and User Experience Management for virtual desktops, today announced their One-Click Assessment Findings Deliverable within Stratusphere. The innovative feature is especially useful for integrators and service providers that are assessing organizations for Next Generation Desktops such as VMware View, Citrix XenDesktop, and Microsoft Windows 7.

The new One Click Assessment Findings Deliverable identifies Good, Fair, and Poor desktop virtualization candidates with just one-click. This feature organizes network, user experience, and application data observed during the assessment, automatically formatting them into a comprehensive, detailed and ready-to-use Microsoft PowerPoint presentation for customers. With a single click, Stratusphere combines dozens of reports into one formatted deliverable, further reducing the effort needed to perform a complete desktop assessment.

To take advantage of the One-Click Assessment Findings Deliverable feature, a Liquidware Labs partner installs Stratusphere into an existing desktop environment to monitor and gather key performance metrics of network, user, and application usage behavior.  Stratusphere takes a comprehensive approach by gathering usage and performance data at all integral levels — from the desktop and applications, to network traffic, to network storage. After the assessment period (usually 5 to 30 days), the One-Click Assessment Findings Deliverable can be run with the click of a mouse.  A robust, customized, easy-to-understand report is automatically generated that summarizes the assessment results for the chosen user groups. The report identifies possible candidates for migration to VMware View, Citrix XenDesktop, and/or Microsoft Windows 7 and can be used immediately or further customized.

“The One-Click Assessment Findings Deliverable was added at the request of leading partners in the VMware, Citrix, and Windows marketplace,” said Tyler Rohrer, COO of Liquidware Labs. “This innovative feature is a great addition to Stratusphere by easing the customer deliverable and providing detailed decision support information for organizations looking to transition to VMware View, Citrix XenDesktop, or any Next Generation Desktop.”

Liquidware Labs has a video demonstration available of the feature at https://www.LiquidwareLabs.com/demos/. The solution is also immediately available for a trial download at www.LiquidwareLabs.com.
