Citrix Online Positioned in the “Leaders” Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Web Conferencing
Citrix Online, a division of Citrix Systems, Inc., today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Leaders” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Web Conferencing 2010.”
Citrix Online’s real-time collaboration tools were assessed along with 14 other providers based on the ability to execute and completeness of vision. According to Gartner, “Vendors in the Leaders quadrant have achieved significant market share while demonstrating an ability to respond to customers’ needs. Leaders have robust, scalable products with a wide range of features, a large installed base, acceptable financial performance and good distribution. Leaders are doing well today and are prepared for the future.”
“Our philosophy says it all: simplicity equals adoption, adoption equals ROI. More than 100 million people took part in web collaboration sessions using our products last year, and we were the only major web conferencing provider gaining market-share in the last 3 years – testament to our unrelenting focus on usability and superlative customer experience, not on meaningless feature checklists. Our customers, from individuals to large enterprises, don’t just tell us our products work every time, they tell us they love them,” said Bernardo de Albergaria, vice president and general manager, collaboration, of Citrix Online. “With the addition of HDFaces™ high-definition video conferencing and further enhancements to our audio offerings slated for 2011, we will continue to provide delightfully simple productivity to our customers.”
In October, Citrix Online announced HDFaces, a high-definition video conferencing technology for its web conferencing products that will be available the first quarter of 2011 at no additional cost. HDFaces features the innovative new Multistream HD™ technology, which enables all participants to view up to six high-resolution video conferencing streams in a high-definition session for a total maximum resolution of 1920p x 960p – a market first – and allows participants to view video and the presenter’s shared desktop in the same screen for the most natural virtual meeting experience yet, all with a standard desktop webcam and internet connection. Citrix Online’s web conferencing products offer integrated audio conferencing via phone and computer with the option to upgrade to integrated toll-free audio service. International toll-free calls will be available in 2011.
Citrix Online’s web conferencing solutions include GoToMeeting® GoToWebinar® GoToTraining®. GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar are among the fastest growing products in the company’s history, due to their ability to provide an easy-to-use, secure, cost-effective and fast way to meet, demonstrate products and collaborate online. With the addition of GoToTraining this year – an easy-to-use, affordable solution for online corporate training – businesses and individuals have a full suite of collaborative services for their online meeting, webinar and training needs.
