Liquidware Labs, the leader in desktop transformation solutions, today announced the company has been selected by Cisco Systems to join the Cisco VXI Partner Ecosystem. Liquidware Labs desktop transformation solutions will serve as an offering under the management component of the ecosystem, which includes solutions from other industry leaders such as VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, EMC and McAfee.

The Cisco Virtualization Experience Infrastructure (VXI) accelerates mainstream virtual desktop adoption and the journey to the next-generation virtual workspace in a fully integrated, open, and validated end-to-end solution. The infrastructure VXI is adaptable, highly secure, and optimized to deliver a superior user experience and best-in-class ROI. Combined with cloud services, Cisco VXI provides IT organizations with an important building block for developing an efficient and agile service delivery model and cloud computing.

“Becoming an ecosystem member of the Cisco VXI program makes perfect sense for Liquidware Labs since our solutions are designed to take organizations through a precise desktop transformation methodology to guide them as they are upgrading to virtualized workspaces,” said Barry Flanagan, Senior Director, Global Alliance & System Integrator Sales Strategy, at Liquidware Labs.  “In keeping with the overall philosophy of the Cisco VXI program, the Liquidware Labs desktop transformation solutions suite, deployed as a virtual appliance, provides a straightforward path to successful desktop, application and user virtualization.”

For the management component of Cisco VXI, Liquidware Labs will provide its complete desktop transformation methodology supported by the suite of Liquidware Labs user virtualization solutions. These solutions propel customers through assessing their existing infrastructure, designing the proper virtual image strategy and VDI architecture, automating the migration of desktop user persona and data as well as validating the new user experience on the virtual platform.
