Version 4.2 Adds Workload Automation, Scheduling, and Capacity Planning Capabilities for Hosted Virtual Desktops

Sychron, Inc. has opened a beta program for the latest version of OnDemand Desktop™, a next generation desktop virtualization and automation solution designed to make enterprise desktop computing more agile, more secure, and more cost-effective to scale. Sychron OnDemand Desktop Version 4.2 includes advanced resource scheduling with intuitive calendar controls for automated provisioning based on workload, time of day, and day of week. New features also include simulation and modeling capabilities based on expected workload, service levels, and availability, as well as a wizard-driven installation process that further simplifies virtual desktop implementation for large-scale deployments.

• Advanced Capacity Planning and Simulation: Sychron OnDemand Desktop provides simulation and modeling capabilities based on expected workload, service levels, and availability to assist with capacity planning and scaling virtual desktop deployments.

• Improved Graphical User Interface: An intuitive and scalable user interface is essential as organizations struggle with the complexity and cost of traditional virtual desktop deployments. Sychron OnDemand Desktop has redesigned its user interface to further simplify management, provisioning, and load balancing for virtual desktop infrastructures.

• Simplified Installation Process: The latest version of Sychron OnDemand Desktop includes a wizard-driven installation process that greatly simplifies installation and configuration. Installation and configuration typically complete in fewer than two hours.
