Virtual Computer and Lenovo Collaborate to Optimize Client Virtualization

Technical collaboration ensures unparalleled NxTop® experience on Lenovo business PCs

Westford, Mass .–  March 9, 2011Virtual Computer, the leader in client virtualization, is collaborating with Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) to optimize Virtual Computer’s NxTop® client virtualization and management solution on select models of Lenovo ThinkPad T and X Series laptops as well as select models of ThinkCentre A and M Series desktop PC platforms. Additionally, Lenovo customers will be able to have Virtual Computer’s NxTop client loaded onto their custom images, direct from the factory, through Lenovo’s Imaging and Technology Center.

The collaboration enables small-to-midsized businesses (SMBs) and large businesses to improve their PC management while reducing the costs of supporting and maintaining a distributed desktop environment. End users also benefit since they have the flexibility to run multiple NxTop virtual machines (VMs)—for instance, corporate and personal VM’s—on their Lenovo machines and access VMs while they are mobile and disconnected from the network.
