Image32 has been seen by many in the Healthcare industries as the “Sharebox for healthcare”. Image32 makes sharing medical images and information easy, and secure. It’s going to be interesting to see the integration of ShareFile with Image32, and also how this will tie to XenApp, which has been used for several years to display medical images, securely and remotely. When checking up on Image32 as a company and what products they have, it really looks like a great fit for Citrix. They have a mobile platform for sharing Medical Imaging, they focus on security and sharing. All key factors at Citrix also. But, the most common thing is probably innovation. From the little we learned about Image32 they look like a innovator in their market spot, just like Citrix has been innovating for the last 20+ years.
