Citrix has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Grasshopper Group, LLC, a leading provider of cloud-based telephony solutions for small businesses. Grasshopper works just like a traditional phone system, but requires no hardware to purchase or software to install—it’s all managed online or by phone. Closing of the acquisition is subject to certain government consents and other closing conditions.  The company expects that the deal will close in the second quarter of 2015.
