eG Enterprise Suite is Verified as Citrix Ready

eG Innovations, Inc., a global supplier of performance management software for virtual and physical IT infrastructures, today announced that its eG Enterprise SuiteTM has been verified as Citrix ReadyTM. The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that add the greatest value in Citrix Delivery Center Infrastructure solutions. eG Enterprise completed a rigorous verification process to ensure compatibility with Citrix XenServerTM, Citrix XenAppTM and Citrix XenDesktopTM.

The Citrix Ready program makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments. Customers can be confident that eG Enterprise has successfully passed a series of tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work effectively with XenServer, XenApp and XenDesktop.

eG Enterprise proactively monitors every layer of every tier in complex IT infrastructures to determine the root cause of IT problems quickly, often before end users notice that anything is wrong. With Citrix Ready certification, eG Enterprise extends its end-to-end business service monitoring across all Citrix product lines. eG Enterprise includes the company’s award-winning eG VM MonitorTM and eG VDI MonitorTM, which track performance of virtualized server and virtual desktop environments, respectively.

“Our end-to-end business service monitoring solution has included all Citrix product lines for many years,” said Srinivas Ramanathan, founder, president & CEO of eG Innovations. “We are pleased to have received certification from Citrix on three of their core product lines, which underscores the value eG Enterprise adds throughout the lifecycle of Citrix products.” During initial rollout, eG Enterprise lets administrators know if performance of the virtualized infrastructure is acceptable from the end user perspective, and if usage patterns are as expected. During day-to-day operations, eG Enterprise proactively informs administrators about problems before they affect users, and also helps keep mean time to repair short by automatically pinpointing the root cause of service-affecting problems. As organizations look to scale out their virtualized server and desktop infrastructures, eG Enterprise’s reports can be used to determine where to add resources and how to load-balance users to achieve optimum service levels at minimum cost.

“We are pleased to have eG Innovations join the Citrix Ready program,” said John Fanelli, vice president of solutions and community marketing at Citrix. “The Citrix Ready Program makes it easier for customers to select the most suitable virtualization infrastructure products for their specific needs. By taking part in our program, eG Innovations has enabled its customers to obtain the highest quality user experience available today, and the simplest means for making an informed product purchasing selection.”

“Citrix Ready dramatically increases our visibility to Citrix customers and channels, clearly demonstrating our commitment to providing solutions that add value to Citrix products,” said Ramanathan. “The offering also provides the basis for a community in which vendors and customers can interact and share information through the dedicated Citrix Ready e-marketplace.”
