RES Software Rounds out First Half of 2013 with a Resounding Performance
Workspace virtualization leader RES Software announced a surge of company momentum on the heels of its performance results for the first half of 2013. The company’s fully automated RES Workspace Virtualization Suite contributed to strong sales performance, exceeding fiscal goals, with significant increases in license bookings year over year resulting in almost 50% growth outside of its home market in the Netherlands. The Americas region’s license bookings grew by 54% and the United Kingdom by 82%.
Concurrent with the surpassing of RES Software’s first half financial goals, the company has signed more than 20 key deals with heavy-hitting international enterprises in industries such as telecommunications, banking and aviation. A testament to the superior strength of its technology and best-in-class customer support and service, RES Software continues to expand its work with multinational companies through the help of the RES Workspace Virtualization Suite, which includes the RES Workspace Manager and RES Automation Manager solutions, and enables IT professionals to centrally deliver, manage and secure the key elements of a user’s computing experience, independently of workstyles and devices.
RES Software has also invested significantly in its staff by hiring top talent for many new positions in product development, sales, customer support and professional services, especially in the Americas and United Kingdom. Because of their profitability and growing fortitude in the workspace virtualization industry worldwide, RES Software has also initiated a strategic expansion into the Australian market. In response to the increasing demand from the Americas region, RES Software has opened a new office in Toronto, Canada, while their Philadelphia headquarters will relocate to larger offices later this year.
“The growth RES Software has seen in the first half of 2013 is indicative of the strong solutions we offer to help IT meet increasingly complex business demands,” said Klaus Besier, CEO of RES Software. “We’ve especially seen momentum among large enterprises as well as from our growing relationships with major system integrators and strategic outsourcers that recognize the long-term strategic value of RES Software solutions. With good results comes growth, and we are concentrating our efforts now towards finishing out the remainder of 2013 with just as much success as we have seen thus far.”
RES Software is currently developing the latest addition to the RES Workspace Virtualization Suite, the RES IT Store. Created to meet the rising demand for user-friendly self-service and automation efficiency, the RES IT Store solution will automatically deliver a wide array of IT services, including access to applications and data to users via self-service. The RES IT Store is presently in use by early adopter customers such as global software company Intuit and UK-based higher education provider Kingston University.
